HoloMotion is a markerless motion analysis system based on 3D machine vision and AI algorithms. No sensors or reflective markers are needed — it captures precise human movement data using only a camera, making it safe and gentle for all ages.
Is the detection process safe? Does it cause any harm?
Completely safe. HoloMotion is based on visual AI technology — no radiation, no skin contact. The detection process is gentle and suitable for all ages, including children and the elderly.
Do I need a professional to operate the product?
No professional qualifications are required. After simple training, anyone can operate it. The interface is intuitive with clear workflows — staff or parents can easily start the device, configure settings, run assessments, and view reports. For complex scenarios, contact our support team.
Can HoloMotion be used by all age groups? What scenarios suit each?
Yes, it suits all ages. Children/adolescents: posture assessment (kyphosis, shoulder asymmetry, scoliosis screening), motor development evaluation. Adults: posture correction, fitness testing, sports form analysis. Elderly: fall risk assessment, range of motion evaluation, rehabilitation monitoring. Special populations: motor recovery assessment for developmental delays or post-surgery rehabilitation.
Are there age or physical condition limitations?
Children aged 3+ can use it if they can follow simple instructions. Under 3, parental guidance is recommended due to limited attention spans. Adults and elderly have no upper age limit — as long as they can perform basic movements independently. Special populations can use it with professional guidance.
What tracking issues might occur with different users? How to solve them?
Children moving too fast: guide them to slow down with parental assistance. Facing away from camera: adjust position to face the camera. Loose clothing or accessories: wear fitted clothing and remove hats/scarves. Short stature: adjust camera tilt to 15-20°. Elderly/mobility-impaired: software sensitivity is pre-adjusted with extended detection time.
Should children, elderly, or mobility-impaired users be accompanied?
Recommended. Children 3-6: parents can guide them through instructions. Elderly and mobility-impaired: staff or family members should assist with positioning and prevent falls. Companions should stand outside the camera's field of view.
Are assessment reports different for each population group?
Yes, reports are tailored. Children/adolescents: growth-specific benchmarks focusing on developmental trends and posture health. Adults: posture correction, movement quality, and fitness metrics. Elderly: balance ability and range of motion with fall risk screening. All reports are screening tools — they do not provide clinical diagnoses.
What should I do if the report flags posture or movement abnormalities?
Report findings are screening indicators, not clinical diagnoses. Consult the appropriate specialist: pediatrics or pediatric rehabilitation for children; sports medicine for adults; geriatrics or rehabilitation for the elderly. Do not self-diagnose or self-treat based solely on the report.
The camera is not recognized by the software. How to troubleshoot?
Check the power supply — use the original power cable if possible. If the issue persists, contact our support team for driver troubleshooting and cable inspection.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, outdoor use is supported. Set up in a shaded area and avoid pointing the camera directly into sunlight.
How can I avoid interfering with the subject during a test?
Make sure no one walks in front of the subject while recording is in progress.
What are the environmental requirements for use?
Four key requirements: ① Even lighting, avoid direct sunlight, ambient illumination ≥300 lux. ② Clean background, remove clutter from the test area. ③ No reflective surfaces — cover or remove mirrors, glass, and metal panels. ④ Adequate space — recommended distance between subject and camera is 2.5–3.5 meters.
How accurate is the system?
HoloMotion has been validated to within 2.5 degrees of gold-standard optical motion capture systems.
How much space is needed for a test?
You need a space of at least 4 meters long and 3 meters wide.
How do I determine the correct camera height?
Position the camera so it is level with the subject's pelvis.
Can I export the raw data?
Yes, please contact the HoloMotion team to arrange raw data export in CSV and C3D formats.
Report generation/export fails or shows garbled text. What to do?
Steps: ① Check disk space to ensure adequate storage. ② Ensure stable network connection. ③ If unresolved, contact our support team for troubleshooting.
Can assessment reports be printed?
Yes, reports can be printed. You can also export them as PDF files or share them via a link.
Is assessment data saved automatically? How to manage historical data?
Data is not saved automatically — you need to manually save reports. Saved reports can be filtered by name and date, and support manual backup. We recommend establishing a naming convention and regular backups for progress tracking.
Is the privacy of assessment data guaranteed?
Absolutely. All assessment data is encrypted on local servers, strictly protecting personal privacy. No personal information is disclosed. Users can delete unwanted data at any time.
Can HoloMotion be used offline?
Yes. Pre-activate the offline license, configure the local server, and disable automatic updates. Standalone products work directly offline with all data stored locally — no external network required.
HoloMotion Video Analysis Tool cannot download videos?
Video download is only supported on the web-based client; the offline version does not support remote downloads. If you see 'video not found,' wait 30 minutes (the device uploads videos every 30 minutes). If the issue persists, contact support.
